iChits is operated by SSV Creative Labs. By using iChits, you agree to these terms.
iChits is a private record-keeping app for organizers and members. It does not collect, hold, transfer, process, or facilitate payments between chit participants. It does not provide financial, lending, investment, legal, tax, or dispute-resolution services.
Keep your account and device secure. You are responsible for information you add, invitations you send, and ensuring you have permission to enter another person's details. Organizers are responsible for their own records and decisions.
Your use must respect the privacy of others. Do not upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content. iChits may restrict access where needed to protect users, comply with law, or prevent misuse.
We may change, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, data recovery from a device, or the accuracy of user-entered records.
iChits is free to join chits. Creating and managing chits needs a paid plan, after an initial 30-day free trial for new accounts. The subscription is for access to the app only, never for chit money. Upgrades are confirmed manually by our support team. Cancelling stops future renewal and your chit data is never deleted because of a plan change. Refund requests follow the Privacy Policy, section 8a.
You may sign in with Google and back up to a hidden app folder in your own Google Drive. Backups are encrypted with a passphrase only you know. If you lose the passphrase, we cannot recover the backup.
You may export data and request account deletion in the app. Deletion is scheduled 7 days ahead and can be cancelled during that time. It is unavailable while you organize a live chit or hold an active member seat. Records other people rely on are kept and your account is anonymised. Deleted data may remain in encrypted backups for up to 30 days.
To the extent allowed by law, iChits is provided as available. SSV Creative Labs is not responsible for participant disputes, user-entered information, offline arrangements, or losses arising from use of the app.
